Cut­ting in XXL for­mat – Ener­gy sup­p­ly sys­tems for 3D water­jet cut­ting sys­tems

With a tra­vel path of 32 meters (x‑axis) by 5 meters (y‑axis), the dou­ble 3D water­jet cut­ting sys­tem, which H.G.RIDDER Auto­­ma­­ti­­sie­rungs-GmbH desi­gned and built for the new plant of the Ans­sems group, has con­sidera­ble dimen­si­ons. The same appli­es to the ener­gy sup­p­ly sys­tems. They crea­te an important pre­re­qui­si­te for the pre­cise move­ment of the two 3D cut­ting heads on the por­tal axes.

The instal­la­ti­on of a new Rid­der Wari­cut water­jet pro­fil­ing machi­ne is hel­ping to slash pro­duc­tion cycle times at BAE Sys­tems, Sam­les­bu­ry.

Our app­ren­ti­ce – Mr. Ingo Stein­mei­er, app­ren­ti­ce­ship year 2010 – has com­ple­ted his trai­ning as an ener­gy elec­tro­nics tech­ni­ci­an in our com­pa­ny with gre­at suc­cess. Mr. Stein­mei­er is one of the 110 best app­ren­ti­ces of his year who com­ple­ted their IHK final exami­na­ti­on in NRW with the gra­de “very good”.

Why this?
Sin­ce 1991, the RID­DERs have been buil­ding water­jet machi­nes and to this day not a sin­gle RIDDER water­jet machi­ne has lan­ded on the scrap heap. Our machi­ne qua­li­ty is so out­stan­ding that more and more buy­ers are deci­ding to have the old machi­ne refur­bis­hed in our fac­to­ry. So buy­ing qua­li­ty always pays off!
